Canadian Thanksgiving is just around the corner. For many, this long weekend really kicks off the autumn season. People across Canada are likely to spend it on raking leaves, hiking, fishing and having a delicious meal surrounded by friends and family. Several party hosts are sprucing-up their home’s decor to make it feel more welcoming.

One of the biggest requests we get this time of year to spruce up few rooms with fresh coat of paint and inexpensively transform the interior.

In keeping with the season, variations of red and green are most obvious choices for interior walls, and they work beautifully at the holidays and thereafter. That’s not to say that pre-holiday painting shouldn’t be done in other colour hues. With several technology advancements interior/exterior paints come in thousands of colors, and you’ll want to apply one that you’ll be happy with when the holiday decorations go back into storage.

If you just don’t have enough time to re-paint an entire room before your guests arrive, you may think of painting an “accent wall” in a holiday color. If you are thinking of DIY to paint your home, Please check our blogs for DIY painting tips
